Chris started his career with Otten Bros. in 1981.  He specializes in working on structural elements like pergolas and fences for the landscape.  Chris is originally from Hamel and now lives in Watertown.  His hobbies include gardening, woodworking, and reading.

Greg Blom

Greg has been working in the landscape industry since 1980 and started with Otten Bros. in 2004.  He says the best part of his job is planting trees, shrubs and perennials.  Greg grew up in St. Louis Park and now resides in Cokato.  In his free time he enjoys snowmobiling, fishing, and water skiing.

Gordon GritzGordon Gritz

AAS degree in Landscaping, Brainerd Technical College

Gordy started in the industry in 1980 and began his career with Otten Bros. in 1989.  He grew up in Staples and currently still lives there.  Gordy enjoys all areas of residential landscaping.  In his spare time, he likes to fish, hunt, and snowmobile.

Geno OttenGeno Otten

Geno began his career with Otten Bros. in 1980.  He says the best part of his job is building patios and retaining walls.  Geno currently lives in Dassel and grew up in nearby Buffalo.  Outside of work he enjoys hunting and fishing.

Josh Converse

Josh has been in the landscaping field since 2005 and working for Otten Bros. since 2007.  He enjoys doing tree work, patios, retaining walls and operating equipment.  Josh grew up in Loretto and now lives in Maple Grove.  In his off time, he rides his long board and waits for the archery season.

Nick Bashore

Nick started working for Otten Bros. Garden Center in 2005 and moved up to the Landscape Department in 2012.  He enjoys seeing how his hard work on a project pays off with a beautiful finished landscape.  Nick grew up in Orono and now lives in Cottage Grove.  When not working, he loves spending time with his family and working out.

Rick OttenRick Otten

Rick has been in the industry and working with Otten Bros. since 1993.  His favorite part of a landscaping job is putting the final touch on the project with plants and mulch.  Rick grew up in Plymouth and is currently living in Waverly.  When he’s not landscaping, he enjoys hunting and fishing.

Tom MuckenhirnTom Muckenhirn

Tom started his landscape career with Otten Bros. in 1985 and specializes in boulder and brick work.  He grew up in rural Delano, where he still lives today.  Tom’s hobbies outside of work are hunting and wood working.
