Bringing nature indoors can have a calming, peaceful impact on our well-being. Join us as we dive into the art of bonsai. “Bon” means flat tray or shallow pot, and “sai” means plant, or planting. Bonsai represents peace and tranquility.

We’re excited to welcome back David Weiss to teach the workshops. David served three years as President at the Minnesota Bonsai Society and has his own YouTube channel called Dave’s Bonsai. He is a teacher by day and thrives in class settings.

David will show you the process of creating your own Bonsai, using a Portulacaria Afra, and will discuss how to properly care for and maintain your Bonsai. You will be supplied with everything you need including the tree, pot, soil, wire, and use of tools.
