Colleen will guide you through selecting the right plants for your space, highlight native species and seed mixes available at Otten Bros., and share tips for creating healthier, more sustainable outdoor spaces. 11:00 AM — How to Create a Bee Lawn
James Wolfin with Twin City Seed will be here to give you a practical “how-to” guide on creating a bee lawn. Learn how to convert a traditional turfgrass lawn into a beautiful, flowering bee lawn that supports pollinator health, improves water quality, and promotes natural resource conservation. James will also introduce the newly launched Bee Lawn Overseeder, specifically designed to be seeded directly into an existing lawn—making it easier than ever to create a pollinator-friendly yard.

James is a Conservation Specialist at Twin City Seed, where he promotes bee lawns as a conservation tool for homeowners and land managers. Previously, he was the Director of Education at Metro Blooms, focusing on green infrastructure and native plants. James also managed the Lawns to Legumes program, helping residents convert lawns into pollinator habitats. He holds an MS in Entomology from the University of Minnesota.
