She’ll walk you through the tried-and-true thrillers, fillers, and spillers approach and show how to combine annuals, tropicals, and more to create balanced, vibrant arrangements.

Danni will also share creative ways to incorporate hardgoods such as obelisks, topiaries, and other structural accents to add height, interest, and impact to your designs. Whether you’re refreshing porch pots or starting something completely new, you’ll leave with fresh ideas and the confidence to design containers that truly stand out all season long.

10:00 AM — The Foundation of a Healthy Garden: Soil That Works

Matt from Plaisted Companies will lead an informative and practical seminar all about what goes into building healthier, more successful gardens from the soil up. He’ll share insight into Plaisted as a company, along with a closer look at soil amendment and how quality soil can make a real difference in your garden.

Val will also walk you through the essentials of successful tomato growing, including how to plant them properly, when and how to fertilize, and tips for keeping your plants strong and productive all season long.
