Ginger has been supervisor of plant production since she declared The Flower Farm her forever home in the summer of 2018. She was just a kitten when she found her way into the greenhouse. Ginger was very skittish at first and wouldn’t go near humans. It took her some time to realize that we weren’t as scary as she thought, and once she understood that she became a little snuggle bug.

In addition to watching over the plants, she deems herself co-chair of rodent control. She is quite good at that, often bringing her catches in to show them off to us. You may find her snuggled up to Ivy near the registers from time to time, but one of her favorite napping spots is in the greenhouse among the plants. She has a deep love of all boxes and will make herself comfortable in any shape or size of box.

Ginger is a chatty girl and will let you know when she is ready for some attention and cuddle time. She is our little orange lion with lots of floof making her paws-itively adorable. Although her duties are numerous and tend to keep her up most nights, she is happy to greet customers and welcome them to her home.

TIP: Ginger is a BIG fan of treats – the more the better!
